Hill Property Media

Hill Property Media is a real estate content, photography / videography and branding studio built for agents who are serious about growing their business but don’t have the time to manage their marketing.

My Client

Chelsey O'Herron is a Savannah-based real estate agent with ten years of experience and zero interest in running her own marketing. She was great at her job and knew it. She just needed someone to handle everything else.

We built her a full brand from the ground up, from logo to color palette to a custom botanical pattern rooted in coastal Georgia. Then we took over her social media entirely: strategy, scripting, video/ photo production, editing, captions, scheduling, and Meta ad management. Every month, she shows up to an hour shoot. We handle the rest.

Blenders

This was a rebrand deck I created for the San Diego based sunglasses brand, Blenders.
Blenders was Founded in 2012. Younger audiences are now discovering the hype around the club scene of that time, and their branding should reflect this.

Homebody - Senior Thesis
This body of work is the culmination of two years of work, bringing together both painting and graphic design into a single body of work that explores themes of protection, instinct, and the boundaries between public and private space. It explores different response mechanisms in the search for protection and how humans respond by adopting instinctual behaviors such as camouflage, territoriality, and the fight-or-flight response. The work examines these behaviors within states of comfort and threat, within public and private spaces, and how danger can intrude into our spheres of safety.

Conceptualizing

:

The book incorporates pattern-making taken from elements of the paintings in the exhibition, along with a catalog of the historical and personal references that informed the work. It was produced as a handcrafted hardcover book, bound in bookcloth that matches the color of the sculpture Home, physically tying the publication to the installation to combine my two loves of graphic design and painting.

Encyclopedia of an Event

A booklet connects a major historical event with a formative personal experience. This project explores the relationship between collective history and individual memory, using visual metaphors to illustrate both events.

Conceptualizing

:

This was the moment chosen as inspiration for this project. Five of us drove out to an abandoned mushroom-shaped house perched above Black's Beach in La Jolla. We explored its graffiti-covered walls, shared a watermelon with strangers on a porch rotting out from under us, and witnessed a SpaceX rocket launch split open the sky at golden hour.

Historical Movement

This personal moment was contrasted with the visual style and life of Antoni Gaudí. This portion of the book explores his impact on Spain and architecture, and how his deeply spiritual vision transformed the built world into something alive. His organic lines and Art Nouveau influence had a profound influence on the Architecture of this time.

Andrea Tinnes Artist Lecture

Poster design developed for an artist talk at the University of San Diego, merging the ornate Catholic identity of USD with the bold, colorful intrigue of Andrea Tinnes' work.

Conceptualizing

:

An introductory presentation to the style of Andrea Tinnes, developed as a preliminary step to the creation of the poster. The presentation itself reflects Tinnes' design tendencies, building a full picture of her visual language from a thourough stand point.

EcoExit Sustainble Move-Out

At the University of San Diego, the EcoExit initiative addresses the surge of waste produced during student move-out, where each student contributes an average of 640 pounds annually. Much of this waste consists of usable items discarded due to inconvenience or lack of awareness. EcoExit introduces donation pods in residential areas, allowing students to give items like clothing, furniture, electronics, and unopened food a second life by redistributing them to incoming students.

Conceptualizing

:

To support this mission, I created a visual redesign for EcoExit that enhances clarity, accessibility, and student engagement. The updated branding better communicates the program's purpose while promoting a culture of shared resources across campus.

Union Hall Gallery

Located in the historic Golden Hill, San Diego, this community jewel hosts art gallery showings and large scale private events, creating exposure for emerging artists in the community. Built by Local 1948, International Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners in 1948, the building has been home to several trade unions, an artist collective, the San Diego Reader, and a music venue. Recently rehabilitated by the owners of Santa Ysabel Art Gallery, Union Hall Gallery aims to support local and bi-national artists, designers, and community-focused events.

Conceptualizing

:

The branding of this space was focused on minimal elegance, letting the beauty of the space speak for itself. Every design decision was made in service of the art, creating a visual identity that steps back so the work can step forward.
